Just one summer separates a high school senior from a college freshman. We are finding that students are not prepared to do the kind of research expected of them in their college courses. Participants will leave this session with suggestions on how academic librarians can reach out to school librarians to better prepare student for research in their college experience. In addition, contact information for connecting college/university librarians with the middle and high schools in their region to facilitate partnerships will be shared. Examples of successful, active partnerships will be highlighted.
