About me
I am a communications strategist, educator, and community leader based in Jonesboro, Arkansas. As Marketing and Public Relations Manager for the Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library, I lead strategic communications efforts that elevate public awareness, strengthen community engagement, and position the library as a vital regional resource.
Beyond my professional role, I am actively involved in advancing the communications and business landscape across Northeast Arkansas. I serve as Communications Chair for the American Advertising Federation of Northeast Arkansas and as Co-Chair of the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Community Impact Committee, where I help guide initiatives that foster local growth and collaboration. I am also a member of the Jonesboro Young Professionals Network.
I bring my real-world experience into the classroom as an adjunct communications instructor at Arkansas State University, where I equip students with practical skills in public relations, oral communications, messaging, and strategic storytelling.
Through my work across public sector communications, nonprofit engagement, and professional development, I provide actionable insights on strategic communications, community-centered marketing, leadership, and library branding. My presentations are practical, engaging, and grounded in real-world application.
