James Nowlin (pronounced now… lin) is a native of NE Texas, and crossed the Red River to attend Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, AR. James started at Garland County Library at the beginning of 2014, and after a couple of trips to the wilderness to wander, returned to GCL midway through 2018. James is currently Outreach Coordinator, originally assigned to handle GCL’s Free Delivery and Remote Locker services while conducting community outreach, which expanded to include all aspects of GCL’s Bookmobile service when Donna, The GCL Bookmobile, was finally delivered in May 2023.
